“Gerês Negro” 2023

In late 2022, nature photographer Tiago Mateus made the decision to dedicate a year exclusively to monochrome photography, in a project he called ‘The Monochrome Journey’. His journey of artistic discovery in an unusual genre of nature photography led him to find a new passion, the mountain. This is a documentary of one of his photographic outings in the Gerês mountains, a wild and rugged place where nature becomes the main character of the film.
